SEO for AI - be findable in search, AI overviews and assistants

A note from our founder, Chris, on SEO for AI

AI is changing how people research. We make sure you’re visible wherever decisions happen — without chasing gimmicks.

There’s a lot of noise (and a fair bit of nonsense) about “AI SEO.” Here’s our promise: we won’t sell you shiny objects. We’ll explain what’s changing in search, show where it matters for your customers, and build AI‑aware thinking into your existing SEO plan. If something won’t move leads or revenue, it won’t make the plan.

What we mean by SEO for AI

Large language models (LLMs) and AI overviews pull short answers from trusted sources. To be selected and cited, your content needs to be clear, consistent and easy to quote. That means:

Balance, not hype: Google remains the primary demand engine. For every 1 AI search there are ~370 on Google. We optimise for AI surfaces and keep Google front and centre.

Where we focus

Be clear and quotable

Short intros that state the value; plain answers up top; evidence where it matters.

Design for scanners

Headings that match intent, skim‑friendly sections, and sensible length.

Keep signals tidy

Consistent names, roles and product terms; helpful schema; clean author bios.

Strengthen decision pages

Case snippets, specs, pricing context and next steps.

Guide the journey

Cross‑links from overviews to decision pages so buyers can act.

HOW WE WORK

How we optimise for AI assistants

01

Align

Agree commercial goals (leads, revenue, efficiency) and the role search plays. Capture your brand facts, language and proof so LLMs don’t get you wrong.

02

Architect

Map how buyers move between Google, AI overviews/assistants and your site. Prioritise which pages first (usually services/decision pages), define page patterns (answer‑first, FAQs, TL;DRs), and set signal standards (entities, authorship, schema where useful).

03

Activate

Refresh/create pages using the patterns above; improve internal links; add succinct FAQs and summaries; tidy author/about pages. Keep the stack lean: we use your current CMS and tools — no expensive add‑ons.

04

Accelerate

Weekly optimisation and testing; monthly reviews tied to pipeline; quarterly plans that focus on the next lift.

FAQS

Common SEO for AI questions

No. It’s classic good practice, applied deliberately for AI surfaces: clearer answers, cleaner signals, better credibility. We integrate it into your existing plan.

No. We start with high‑impact pages (services/decision pages), then expand as patterns prove themselves.

Leads/revenue first, then supporting signals we can observe (e.g., featured snippets, visibility on priority queries, engagement on decision pages). Where AI reporting is limited, we explain the limits.

No. These improvements usually help traditional rankings and conversion as well.

We lock down facts and language (entity map, author pages, about/contact) so LLMs have reliable signals and your voice stays intact.
